A few years ago my husband went on a work-sponsored trip to northern Minnesota for ice fishing. Ice fishing doesn't sound fun period, but throw "Northern Minnesota" into the mix and it sounds miserable! Because temperatures reach 30 below zero, the group stayed in a little hut on the ice and had a small heater in the hut. To help endure the insane temperatures, his work colleagues got drunk (I'm guessing it wasn't the only reason). Good thing there was a sober Mormon on board to save the day! At first my husband assumed it was the alcohol causing all the puking, but soon he realized the heater was malfunctioning and pumping out carbon monoxide. Long story short, he got some fresh air into the place and they all lived happily ever after. To this day, he claims it was the longest weekend of his life.
...and no he didn't catch any fish! I think the lake was frozen solid.
